Homeowners Association

Welcome to Forrest Groves Estates a quiet, low-traffic single family home community on the Florida River 11 miles east of Durango, Colorado. Our community was developed by Bill Groves after his family used the area as a summer camp for kids in the 1950's and 1960's, Bill Groves developed the subdivision in the 1970's and named it for his brother, Forrest.  Our community's homes and lots are privately owned and maintained.  The Homeowners Association maintains the community's common areas, roads, water, waste water treatment facilities and conducts snow removal on its roads.
