The Association provides water through two wells, one on each side of the river. Water from the Verde Well is pumped uphill, stored in a 20,000 gallon tank, and then gravity-fed to the residents south of the Florida River. Because of the relatively flat terrain north of the river, water for those homes is distributed by a pressurized tank system. Due to the efforts of our paid water stewards and several neighborhood volunteers, we consistently have excellent drinking water.
